Fun Frames

Awhile back my mom,"L," decided to start making picture frames... She gives them as gifts and uses them at home to display photos, mostly of her two granddaughters! Each frame is made to match home decor, personality and of course all are made with love.

To make these frames she purchases plain wooden frames with a peg stand at the local craft store. She then searches for the perfect scrapbook paper there are so many cute papers out there!). The scrapbook paper is cut to the shape of the frame and attached with a glue stick. With the paper on, the fun begins.

There are so many things that can be used to decorate the frames. She antiques the edges with a brown stamp pad, she scours shelves for decorative ribbons and you can also find her at the local antique market looking for old keys, antique costume jewelry and other vintage inspired pieces to make the perfect frame!

About Me

My photo
My mom, referred to as Mama L, and I have been talking about starting a blog for quite some time now. We are always trying new recipes and making new crafts - always being told by friends and family that we need to sell our creations. Instead of selling them we've decided to share our crafty ideas, yummy recipes along with our funny adventures here on our blog. Please follow us and enjoy. We are always trying to find new places to explore, new recipes to cook for our families and most of all we're just having fun!
