Banana, Blueberry & Lemon Muffins

2 1/4 c all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 large ripe bananas, mashed
2/3 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter, melted
1 tbsp vanilla
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 c blueberries, divided
2 tbsp grated lemon zest, divided
3 tbsp sugar
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat muffin pan with butter or Pam or use cupcakie liners.
Combine: Flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and 1 tbsp lemon zest.
Using a mixer, beat bananas, eggs, brown sugar, melted butter, lemon juice and vanilla until blended. Stir in dry ingredients and then carefully fold in 1 cup of the blueberries. Scoup batter into muffin tin. Sprinkle with remaining blueberries gently pushing them down into the batter.
Combine sugar and remaining lemon zest. Sprinkle over each muffin. Bake 22 - 27 minutes. Cool, enjoy!
