Pizza Extravaganza

With the weather warming up we like to cook outside. One of our favorites is pizza on the grill.

We start with prepackaged Naan bread available in the fresh bread section of our grocery store. We then choose a spread to put down first; hummus, pizza sauce, a creamy cheese, BBQ Sauce etc. After you put down your base start topping with yummy things. We like to use Italian Sausage (already cooked), roasted veggies, fresh basil, tomatoes, chicken, artichoke hearts...and of course top with shredded cheese.

Bake on the BBQ!  You can either place them directly on the BBQ or on a pizza stone, they don't take long as everything is already cooked, just need to toast the bread and melt the cheese.

There are endless combinations, be creative when making your pizzas!

Roasted Butternut squash and beets - dice, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.

About Me

My photo
My mom, referred to as Mama L, and I have been talking about starting a blog for quite some time now. We are always trying new recipes and making new crafts - always being told by friends and family that we need to sell our creations. Instead of selling them we've decided to share our crafty ideas, yummy recipes along with our funny adventures here on our blog. Please follow us and enjoy. We are always trying to find new places to explore, new recipes to cook for our families and most of all we're just having fun!
