Pretty Pots

With a few cans of spray paint you can spruce up your backyard, front porch or patio.

Next time you're at your local hardware store pick up a few inexpensive terra cotta pots and dishes. Terra cotta pots are very porous so I primed my pots with a coat of white primer spray paint. When that dried I started praying on the color. It took a few coats to completely cover and have a vibrant look.

I also decorated my red pots with a few white polka dots. Just a white acrylic paint that I had in my craft cupboard. After the dots dried I sprayed on a clear top coat.

They were ready to plant! It brightens up my small patio and gives it a little life!

Try painting your pots to  match you house/patio.

Enjoy!

My mom, referred to as Mama L, and I have been talking about starting a blog for quite some time now. We are always trying new recipes and making new crafts - always being told by friends and family that we need to sell our creations. Instead of selling them we've decided to share our crafty ideas, yummy recipes along with our funny adventures here on our blog. Please follow us and enjoy. We are always trying to find new places to explore, new recipes to cook for our families and most of all we're just having fun!
