If you're ever looking for a fun Sunday morning...look no further than the Irvine Farmer's Market. Located at the Great Park off of Sand Canyon and the 5 Fwy every Sunday morning.
Today's visit brought great joy when we were surprised to see they had a petting zoo...Baby S was in heaven with all of the animals. Pigs, goats, sheep, horses, bunnies and even 6 week old puppies.
After a long visit with the animals we strolled through the craft section of the market where Baby S found her shadow for the first time. It was a beautiful sunny morning and the sun was just behind us enough for her to see her shadow and wonder why it copies her every move.
Along the way we sampled a few treats and ended up at the far end of the market where a one man band was playing great music and there was a line up of food trucks. We settled on the Garlic Truck and enjoyed a lunch of garlic steak and chicken sliders and amazing garlic and feta cheese fries. Baby S had a garlic free quesadilla. We shared a table with another family and ate lunch in the sun while we watched Baby S run around on the grass with other little kids her age.
After lunch we walked through the produce section where we sampled all kinds of amazing citrus and apples...the perfect ending to our visit and the start of Baby S' nap time.
Hope you have the chance to Enjoy!
